Checking used mobile phones

Be sure that the second-hand phone you intend to buy is not a stolen one by checking the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number of the phone. The IMEI tracing system allows you to verify that the IMEI number of the phone is not among the list of IMEI numbers of stolen handphones.
